Earthtank ("we", "us") sells handmade ceramic water purifiers and filters through earthtank.com.au. Earthtank is operated by Brandon Wilson, ABN 26 205 741 826, Bellingen NSW, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you order, join our list or contact us, we collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses
- what you ordered, when, and how much you paid
- messages you send us
When you visit our website, we and our partners collect:
- device and browser information, IP address and approximate location
- pages you view, products you add to your cart, and purchases you make
This is collected through cookies and similar technology (see "Cookies and advertising" below).
We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are processed by our payment providers.
How we use it
- to process and deliver your order, and to send order and shipping updates
- to answer your questions and provide after-sales support, including filter reminders
- to send you news and offers, if you have agreed to hear from us (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
- to understand how our website is used and to improve it
- to show you relevant Earthtank ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google, and to measure whether our ads work
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Cookies and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar tools from:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta Pixel and Conversions API share information about your visit and purchases with Meta, so we can measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may use this information as described in its own privacy policy.
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Ads tags measure site visits and ad results.
- Wix: our website platform uses cookies to run the site and the shopping cart.
You can control cookies in your browser settings. You can manage how Meta uses information for ads at facebook.com/adpreferences, and how Google does at adssettings.google.com.
We may use summary data about our sales and ad results (not your payment details) in our own business tools, including AI tools that help us manage advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed with:
- delivery and courier companies, to send your order
- our website and payment providers, including Wix and its payment partners
- email and marketing tools we use to contact you
- Meta and Google, as described above
- our accountant and professional advisers, where required
Some of these providers store information overseas, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
We keep personal information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to the people who need it. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligations. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
